Good Price Screw Oil Expeller Machine for Pressing Peanut Oil Edible Oil Refinery Machine
The Process of Peanut Pretreatment
1. Peanut Cleaning
Impurity removal: Remove stones, straw, metal impurities, etc., from peanuts through vibrating screens and magnetic
separators.
Color sorting: Moldy, discolored or damaged peanut kernels are removed using photoelectric sorting technology.
2.Peanut Shelling and Separating of Hull & Kernels
Sheller: Removes peanut shells through mechanical friction or centrifugal force, retaining peanut kernels (kernel yield is about 70-75%).
Kernel-shell separation: Wind selection or screening technology completely separates the shell from the kernel to reduce subsequent pressing interferen
3.Peanut Crushing & Softening, Flaking, Cooking
Crushing: Crush the peanut kernels into small particles (2-4mm) to increase the surface area for subsequent pressing efficiency.
Softening: soften the cell structure and reduce the pressing resistance through steam heating or moisture adjustment (moisture content of 5-8%).
High-temperature steaming and frying: In a rotary steaming and frying pan, the peanut kernels are heated to 110- 130°C, and the moisture content is controlled (3-5%).
Function: destroy the cell wall and promote the release of oil; adjust the degree of protein denaturation (affecting the texture of the pressed cake).
Peanut Oil Pressing Process
Pre-pressing: The peanut kernels steamed and fried at high temperature are directly put into the screw press, and the oil is squeezed out by mechanical pressure (pressure up to 100-200MPa).
- High oil yield (cold pressing about 40-45%, hot pressing can reach 45-50%).
- The oil cake has low residual oil (about 6-8%), which is suitable for further oil extraction by subsequent leaching method.
- The oil product is darker in color and has a strong flavor (suitable for traditional cooking).
Cold pressing process (low temperature physical pressing)
Oil yield (about 35-40%), but retain more natural flavors and nutrients (such as vitamin E, sterols).
The oil product is light in color and has a high smoke point, which is suitable for low-temperature cooking or health products.

Peanut Oil Refining Process
Why Edible Oil Refinery is Necessary?
Edible oil is indispensable in our daily lives, no matter what kind of food you make. Especially in China, we have accumulated thousands of years of diet culture, and edible oil quality will directly influence the food flavor. Thus high-quality edible oil is definitely important. It is said that edible oil without refinery is full of impurities such as gums, pigments, waxes, phosphatides, and free fatty acids (FFA), of which some are harmful to our health. Edible oil refining is essential to remove them and offer us the first or second-grade edible oil.
A refining pot, decolorizing pot, deodorizing pot, vacuum pump, steam generator, and heat conduction furnace are necessary for the edible oil refining process. They are connected with vessels by pipeline.
The main steps of peanut oil refining

Refining is to remove impurities, odors and pigments from peanut oil and improve the quality and taste of the oil. The refining process mainly includes steps such as degumming, deacidification, decolorization and deodorization.
Degumming mainly removes phospholipids and other colloidal substances from peanut oil. By heating and adding chemical reagents, colloidal substances such as phospholipids are aggregated into larger particles, which are then removed by centrifugation or filtration.
Deacidification is to reduce the free fatty acid content in peanut oil. Alkaline refining or distillation is usually used for deacidification. The alkali refining method is to add an appropriate amount of alkali solution to neutralize the free fatty acids to generate soap stock and glycerol, and then remove the soap stock through centrifugation or filtration.
Decolorization mainly removes pigments from peanut oil to make the color of the oil clearer. Adsorption decolorization method is usually used, that is, adsorbents such as activated carbon are used to absorb pigments and other impurities in oil.
Deodorization to remove odors and volatile substances from peanut oil and improve the taste and stability of the oil. Deodorization usually uses high-temperature vacuum distillation, under high temperature and vacuum conditions, the odor components in peanut oil are volatilized and removed through condensation collection.
During the deacidification and deodorization process, free fatty acids and low molecular weight substances are distilled out under high temperature vacuum and direct steam conditions. The physical refining deodorization temperature is higher than the conventional temperature. Generally around 260 degrees. During the operation, attention should be paid to rapid temperature rise, balancing the flow of the inlet to be deodorized and the finished oil, and strictly controlling the deodorization time, etc. This is directly related to the technological level of oil refining equipment.
The refined peanut oil is cooled, filled and sealed through automated packaging equipment for storage and sale.
